Review the words with students, asking them to repeat after you and explaining any unfamiliar words.
Listening:

Ask students to listen to the samples and try to identify the genre of each song.
Play the recording again if necessary.
Speaking:
Divide the class into pairs.
Give each pair a set of pictures of musicians and bands representing different genres.
Ask students to use relative pronouns (that, who, which) to describe their preferences. For example, “I like the singer who performs pop music because the songs are catchy and upbeat.”
Have each pair present their preferences to the class.
Wrap-up:
Ask students what they learned about using relative pronouns to describe preferences.
Have students share their thoughts on the role of music in their lives and how it reflects their personalities.
Assessment:
Observe students during the speaking activity and note their ability to use relative pronouns to describe preferences.
Evaluate their participation in the class discussion.
Homework:
For homework, ask students to create a playlist of their favorite songs from different genres and write a short paragraph explaining why they like each song. Encourage them to use some of the vocabulary and relative pronouns they learned in class. They can also share their playlists and paragraphs with the class in the next session.
