5. wind (v.) ?(wound, wound )
1) 用....缠绕 wind sth. around/round sth.
The hair is divided into sections and wound around heated rods.
2) 给....上发条 Did you remember to wind the clock?
3) 蜿蜒,曲折 wind (its way) through/along etc sth. Highway 99 winds its way along the coast. a winding path
4) wind sth. forward/back 把....拨回 Can you wind the video back a little way—I want to see that bit again.
6. tear (v.) 1) Be careful not to tear the paper.
tear sth. Into pieces .把.....撕成碎片 She realized she had torn her jacket into pieces. tear sth. off 撕掉;撤掉 Tear off the slip at the bottom of this page and send it back to us.
2) 主语+/write/tear /wash +adv。 The paper tears easily.
