although conj.虽然,尽管;不过,然而。引导让步状语从句。【注意】　although/though表示“虽然,尽管”,这两个词都不能与but连用,即用了although/though,就不能再用but,不过可以与yet/still一起使用。
eg:It was raining,but the football match still went on.=Although it was raining,the football match still went on.=Although it was raining,yet the football match still went on.
