备课人:
教材分析:
本单元围绕着“帮助有需要的人”的话题来展开听、说、读、写的训练。教材以三个学生介绍他们做志愿者的报告为载体,帮助学生了解帮助别人可以从志愿者做起。帮助别人的同时,自己也会得到快乐。作为初二年级的学生,了解并在日常生活中帮助有需要的人对于培养学生的责任感以及培养乐于助人的品德有一定的帮助。语法方面是关于动词的不定式的用法,并培养学生在完成一封有关希望得到校长同意筹募钱的信并尝试正确使用这些词。
学情分析:
学生通过初一、初二的学习,对工具书和蛛网图的使用有一定的了解,通过对蛛网的介绍和用法,提高学习的自学能力和概括归纳能力,有利于开展本单元的听、说、读、写任务。
学生在初一、初二平时学习过程中就已经接触过了有关动词不定式的用法,本单元再通过系统地复习,在学习方式上引导学生学习归纳总结。
Period 1&2 Reading Voluntary work
教学目标:
1) To learn the new words of this unit
2) To learn the structure of the reading and understand the main ideas
3) To train students’ reading skill---skinning and scanning
4) To make students be aware of helping those in need
教学重难点:
Know the structure and contents of the main article.
Train students’ guessing skill of the new words according to the whole article.

(√) He expressed his thanks to her.expression n.表达;表情 express one's feelings意为“表达某人的情感”。如: Mother's Day gives people a chance to express their feelings to their mother.4)spend time with意为“与……共度;陪伴”。如: While in Hawaii,Mr. Hill spent time with his wife.①spend还可以表示“花费”。How much money do you spend each week ②常见搭配: sb. +spend (s)+money/time+(in) doing sth 某人花费金钱/时间做某事sb.十spend (s)+money/time+ on sth某人在某事/某物上花费金钱/时间5)need此处用作 实义动词,意为“需要”,可构成: need sth; need to do sth。They don't need any help. 教学过程 一、ListeningStep 1 Pre-listeningTell Ss that they are going to do some listening exercises. Ask some of the Ss what they will do before listening.Learn the study tips with Ss by asking Ss to read the tips on their book carefully.(Pay attention to wh-questions when listening.Ask Ss to read the table on page 6 carefully and predict what kind of information they could fill in the blanks. Ss can discuss in groups and write down their answers with pencils.Ask Ss what they must pay attention to when they write.
