There was once a little grey planet. The people on it didn’t look after it, although they had many smart scientists and all kinds of spaceships. They polluted the planet with rubbish(垃圾) and other kinds of pollution. There were no plants or animals left.
One day, a little boy found a small red flower inside a cave(洞). The flower was dying, so the boy decided to look after it carefully. But everything was polluted so there was no place for the flower to live. Then the boy looked up at the sky and found the moon. Maybe the flower could live there. So the little boy put on his astronaut suit and climbed into a space-ship. He put the little red flower in the back and they went off to the moon.

The Witch is furious. There’s only one way she can destroy these strangers. She goes to her cupboard and takes out a Golden Cap. She puts it on her head and says some magic words. Immediately the sky goes dark. The Winged Monkeys are coming! They all have big strong wings on their shoulders.

Then they put a rope around the Lion’s neck and take him back to the Witch’s castle.
Dorothy watches. She’s holding Toto in her arms. She’s very frightened. The King of the Monkeys flies up to her. He’s holding his long hairy arms out in front of him and he has a horrible smile on his face. Then suddenly he stops. His smile disappears. He picks Dorothy and Toto up carefully and takes them back to the castle.
