As the “double reduction” policy (“双减”政策) came out, students began to have time to do after school activities. We did a survey among 300 students from No.6 Middle School. The following diagram (图表) shows the situation at present.
It is clear from the survey that most students have a proper plan for their after school activities. That's why the students and their parents support the policy. It can lower students' learning stress and help students better focus(集中) on their study. Also, students can get new skills from the activities and make more friends.
However, some parents worry that the policy will lead to worse grades because students will have less time to study and get less help from after school training classes. And they can no longer see the rankings (排名) after each exam. It makes them guess and worried about what level(水平) their children are at.
No matter what people think of the policy, our government hopes students will face less schoolwork pressure with the help of it.

“I don't like my parents. They always tell me I should do this, and should not do that. It sometimes makes me angry, ”said Zhang Hua, a middle school student in Guangzhou. Do you have the same problem?Perhaps your parents had the same problem when they were your age long ago. Why does it seem that some parents are not so friendly in their children's eyes
One of the biggest problems is when someone becomes a parent, he or she likes worrying about things. They worry about everything about you from the time you were born. They do a lot for you, though something would make you angry, because they care about you and worry about you. They worry about your choice of friends, food you eat and your work, how much sleep you get, etc. All these things are part of your life. They want you to grow up healthily and happily.
So how can you make things easier? It's easier than you think. Just make sure your parents know what you're doing. Get them to know your friends. Phone them if you stay somewhere else late so that your parents don't call everybody in the phone book looking for you. Say sorry to them when you make mistakes. Take responsibility(责任)for what you have done. Talk about your ideas with them. They may talk about theirs with you.
Most of all, try to think about why your parents do this or do that. They are still practicing being parents and need help you can give them. Some day, when you become a parent, they may be able to help you know how to get on with your children.

Good afternoon, and welcome to England. Here are a few of the laws you should pay attention to.
The first one is about drinking. Now, you may not buy wine or beer if you are under 18 years old.
Secondly, noise. Enjoy yourselves by all means. But please don't make unpleasant noise, especially at night.
Thirdly, crossing the street. Be careful. The traffic moves on the left side of the road in this country.
My next point is about waste. It's against the law to throw away rubbish in a public place.
Finally, smoking. It is against the law to buy cigarettes if you are under 16 years old.

六、 There are many rules in our life, such as family rules, traffic rules, school rules, and so on. But is it necessary to follow rules?I think the answer is yes.
Take myself for example. When I was fifteen years old, I thought I was old enough to neglect the traffic rules. So I often rode a bike on the road wearing headphones. One day, when I was enjoying the music on my bike, a truck suddenly appeared and seemed to lose control. Unfortunately, I was badly hit and got into a coma. However, I was lucky enough to recover in a year.
So that was the result I got. I have learned an important lesson from that accident. That is, follow all the rules.
