教材分析（语篇研读） 本课的教学内容是八年级下册第四单元的最后一课时，是一节写作课和复习课。本节课的主要内容是通过making notes 和writing 对本单元的语言知识进行综合运用，并通过Self Check 对本单元的重难点进行检测巩固，促进学生对语言点的掌握，同时教育学生会面对各种问题和压力并寻找解决问题的方法。
核心素养教学目标 一、语言知识目标1.能听、说、读、写本课的新词汇perhaps 复习并灵活运用本单元的常用词汇及表达： in one’s opinion , a successful person , learn from , agree with , it is important for sb to do sth , keep doing , turn down the TV. 复习比你高熟练运用下列句式：In my opinion , it’s important for children /parents to .. I believe it is better if children /parents ...so that ..Perhaps parents /children should //could .. If children ... they will .... 二、思维品质目标熟练运用单元你的重点句型进行会话和写作。 学习能力目标 能对英语学习有持续的兴趣和较为明确的学习需求与目标。 文化意识目标 学会放松、缓解压力。
重点 能运用所学的语言知识来简单地表达自己对某一困难问题的看法和建议。 总结本单元所学的重点词组及句型。 复习总结until , although ,so that等词的用法，并能完成相关习题。
难点 用所学的语言知识来写一封简短的信，表达自己对学生上课外辅导班这一社会现象的看法。

T:What’s the common problem for Chinese and American families Ss:They have to go to many after-school classes . T:OK.What’s your opinion about after-school classes Now think about it and write a short article to a magazine . Ask the students to try to write a short article by themselves . Walk around the class and give any help students may need. First , let the students say if they agree or disagree . Dear ..I don’t really agree with .. because ... Although some parents are right about .. I think children should ... Then , explain why In my opinion , it is important for children /parents to .. Give the possible version and check it . Step 3 Practice Self Check 1. Ask some students to make up some sentences with “until , so that” and “although” and then ask them to fill in each blank using the words . Check the answers with the students. Self check 2 Ask the students to go through the problems and advice first , and then choose the advice they agree with more. Then ask them to write their own advice .
