一、教学目标
(一)知识与能力
1. 能正确使用下列单词和短语
treasure, island, page, hurry, yet , already;full of, put it down,page25,at least, hurry up…
2.能正确使用现在完成时表达已经发生过的事情。
3. 能够掌握含有yet , already的现在完成时的结构和用法。
(二)过程与方法
1. 通过课前微课初步了解本课所学文学名著的名称和主要内容,然后通过课件再次帮助学生掌握书名;
2. 采取Pair work问答式的口语交际活动,让学生运用“Have you read...yet ”句型互相操练现在完成时态;
3. 采取表格填空、判断正误的听力方式帮助学生掌握听力技能;
4. 采用Role-play的学习策略,利用小组合作学习,展开课堂教学。
(三)情感态度与价值观
通过谈论文学作品,激发学生对英语语言文化的兴趣,能简单地表达自己的观点和看法,提高学生的审美观和促进学生阅读的积极性,感受文学作品的美和内涵,提高学生的文学素养和人文素养。
二、教学重难点
(一)教学重点
1.体验和感悟already 和yet在现在完成时中的用法。
2.初步了解几部文学作品的主要内容。
(二)教学难点
理解现在完成时是对已发生的事件的描述,并体现其对现在的影响,而不是强调事件发生在过去。
三、教学策略
词汇教学──采取图片,让学生在情境中操练、理解含义,并学会运用;口语教学──采取Pair work问答式的口语交际活动和小组活动互相操练;听力教学──根据听到内容判断正误,填空,听后回答问题等方式;语法教学──总结规律、抓住特征、模仿操练。
四、教学过程
Step 1:Lead-in
给学生播放微课,初步了解本课所学文学名著的名称和主要内容,导入本单元话题。
【设计意图】
课文中出现的英美名著很出名,可是对于中国的初中学生也许并不了解。通过微课的展示,可以让学生们更多的了解这些名著,激发学生学习兴趣,快速进入话题。
Step 2:Talk about the books you have read.
Set up a situation: There will be a Reading Festival. Our school recommends a book list for us to read.
Activity1:利用图片呈现六本文学名著封皮及书名,并提问:

Yes, I have./ No, I haven’t.
【设计意图】
图片形象直观,让学生借助图片学习六本书的英文书名。同时,感知现在完成时的语言功能。
Activity 2:听1b对话并填空。本环节分为两个层次:
听力第一遍,只填写书名,给出听力提示:Write for short.
听力第二遍,把听力分成三个小对话,一段一段的听,填写其他两部分的内容,并且在核对答案时总结句型:

通过对话感知对经历的描述方法,通过听获取信息,体验现在完成时的运用;分层设计听力任务有利于分层教学,降低听力难度。
归纳句型结构,有利本课重难点的突破。
Activity 3:Pair work二人谈论自己读过什么书,并简单说明自己的看法,练习基本句型。
Step 3:Talk about the books he/she has read.
Activity 1:听2a,学生圈出书名,核对答案时呈现句型并引导学生运用。
Activity 2:听2b对话之前先让学生读懂句子意思,再根据对话内容选择正确答案、判断正误。重点在于对书的内容及评价的引导。
【设计意图】
通过2a-2b的听力对话更加深入的呈现对相关名著的评价,在表达自己观点时呈现了更多表达方式,进而再次呈现了现在完成时。Activity 3:Pair work
把2a, 2b 的内容整合为表格,谈论Tina/Mark 读过或没读过的书。同时谈论书的主要内容以及对书的评价。
【设计意图】
本部分基于听力内容的语言输出,让学生转换第三人称运用现在完成时对2a、2b的表达内容进行问答。
Step 4:Thinking
After reading a book, what do you usually do? Do you put it aside or think about it and write something about it?引出美国学生的读书现状以及“book report”的概念介绍。
【设计意图】
本部分是为了自然过渡到2d的“book report”,增强学生的文化意识;同时对学生进行情感教育,引导学生正确的读书方式,即有所读,有所思。

Activity 1:读2d的对话,填表。

通过这四个问题,挖掘文本深层次的内容,鼓励学生大胆猜测,锻炼学生的逻辑思维能力,通过比较 Steve 和Amy两种不同的阅读方式,直接给学生做了最好的示范,引导学生正确阅读名著,同时进行 “今日事,今日毕”的情感教育。

模仿语音和语调,学生分角色朗读。鼓励学生创编对话,学以致用。

Step 6:Sum up
通过SmartArt 组织结构图对本课的话题及围绕其学习的词汇句型和目标呈现出来,帮助学生更直观的理解本堂课。
