单元教学目标
语言知识目标:
(1)能听说读衣物类的单词:T-shirt, dress, shorts, blouse。
(2)能听说读用表达需求的句型:What do you need I need...以及表达自己喜好的句型: I like .../I don't like...
语言技能目标:
(1)能用What do you need 询问别人的需求,用I need..表达自己的需求。
(2)能用I like/ I don't like 表达自己喜欢或者不喜欢什么。
学习策略目标:
(1)通过多媒体创设情境使学生理解所学单词,在词语与相应事物之间建立联想。
(2)通过说唱歌谣歌曲,积极运用所学词句进行表达交流。
学情分析
小学一年级学生具有活泼好动,注意力易分散,好奇心重,乐于表现自我的特点。经过一段时间的学习,学生们已初步掌握日常生活、动物、颜色、季节、天气等话题的英语表达。但初次接触衣服类的词汇以及表达自己需要的句型,学生对单词、句子意义的理解以及相似单词的发音存在一定困难。
重点难点
重点:
1.衣物类的单词:T-shirt, dress, shorts, blouse。
2.表达需求的句型:What do you need I need...
难点:
单词的发音以及单词句型在情境中的应用
教学过程
本课时知识目标:
1.Words: T-shirt, dress, shorts, blouse (skirt, shirt).
2.Sentence pattern: I need…
能力目标:
Understanding and using key words and sentence pattern in context.
情感目标:
Have students cherish their clothes and donate some old clothes to help others.
学时重点
1.The meaning and the pronunciation of key words “T-shirt, dress, shorts, blouse” and sentence pattern “I need”.
2. Using key words and key pattern in context.
学时难点
1.The pronunciation of shorts and shirt.
2.The usage of shorts.(No “a”)
3.The difference between blouse and shirt.
教学活动
【导入】Pre-task:
1.Sing a song: The weather song for kids
2. Lead in the topic and introduce the character: Bob will have a summer party. Let’s go to the beach.
(a)Create the context: Have students close eyes and draw beach on the blackboard quickly.
:“Wow. It is a beach! How nice! What do you see
Ss: I see…(a sun, a ship, a bird, a tree…)
T:Do you want to go to the beach”
Ss: Yes.
T: Ok. Let’s go to the beach! But we need some clothes. Wow so many clothes. What do we need
(b)Show some pictures of clothes and have students choose right clothes.
【讲授】New words teaching:
(1)Teach T-shirt and shirt
(a)Show picture of a T-shirt to elicit the new words.
T: Do you need a T-shirt
Ss: Yes. I need a T-shirt.
(b)Show a real T-shirt.
Read the word: T sh ir t; (联想:bird)
(c)Practice the word by talking about students’ T-shirts.:
(Point to different students’ T-shirts)A blue T-shirt, a white T-shirt…
(d) Elicit new words: shirt
Have students read the word together. Then have students try to read shirt.
T: Can you read (Letter T is covered)
Ss: shirt.
(e) Show a real pare a shirt and a T-shirt.
T:Look! A T-shirt is short and cool. A shirt is long and warm.
(f) Have students chant together:
“Shirt, shirt. I need a shirt.
Shirt, shirt. Nice and warm.
T-shirt, T-shirt. I need a shirt.
T-shirt, T-shirt. Nice and cool.”
(2)Teach skirt, dress and shorts.
T: Now we have T-shirt and shirt for summer party. What else do you need
(a)Show the picture of a skirt to elicit new words.
T: Do you need a skirt
Girl: Yes. I need a skirt.
Boy: No. I don’t need a skirt.
T: never mind. Skirts for girls. I have shorts for you, boys.
(Show a real skirt and shorts)
(b) Read the word: s-k-ir-t
Emphasize “sk, sk, skirt” “sh, sh, shirt”
(c)Talk about the color of skirts. Elicit dress.
T: What color is it
Ss: It is black.
T: Oh a black skirt.
(Show a half of the dress)
Ss: A white skirt.
T: Magic, Magic.(Show the whole dress)
Is this a skirt
Ss: No. It’s a dress.
Read the word: dr-e-ss (联想 drink)
(d)Learn old and new.
(Show the picture of an old dress)
T: Is this a dress
S: Yes/ No.
T: Yes. It is a dress. But it’s old. Look at this one ( Point to the new one) It’s new
Read the word: new old
T: A new dress. An old dress.
Ss repeat.
(e)Learn the word “shorts”
Have students choose among skirt, dress and shorts to elicit the new word.
T: What do you need
S: I need a skirt.
T: Do you need a skirt
B: No. I don’t need a skirt.
T: What do you need
B: I need a shorts.
T correct mistakes.
T: Here is an “s”, No “a”. I need shorts.
(Show a pair of real shorts.)
Read the word: sh-or-ts
Emphasize the sound of “ts”
Chant together:
“Sh, sh, shorts.
I need shorts.
Sh, sh, shirt.
I need a shirt.
Sh, sh, T-shirt.
I need a T-shirt.”
Now we have a skirt, a dress, and shorts for the summer party. So good.
(3)Teach blouse
(a)T:Listen! (Play the sound of wind) How’s the weather
S: It’s windy. It’s cool.
T: What do we need
Read the word: bl-ou-se (联想house, mouse)
(b) Chant:
In a big big house. Oh! A big big blouse.
In a big big blouse. Oh! A big big mouse.
(c)Compare a real blouse and a shirt.
Have a boy and a girl come to the front.
T: What do you need A blouse or a shirt.
G: I need a blouse.
B: I need a shirt.
【练习】Post-task
1.Review the words
T: now we have so many clothes. They are… What do you need
Have students name the clothes they see.
Chant:(P41)
2.Listen and read the text.
T: Wow you need so many clothes. Danny and Alice are going to the party too. What do they need Let’s listen.
Have students act as Danny and Alice.
Ss: Hello, Danny. What do you need
S1. I need a new T-shirt.
3.Talk about what you need.
T: Wow! Look! Bob has a magic box. It can make clothes. What do you need
(1)Teacher and student A make examples.
T:I need a new dress. I like red. It’s nice.
(2)Discuss in group. (导学单上已经画好,涂色,装饰) Students talk about what they need in group.
Introduce their clothes in group.
“I need a T-shirt.
Look at my T-shirt.
It’s yellow. It is nice/super.”
(3)Invite two groups to present.
Wow you all have clothes. Now Let’s go to the beach and enjoy the party.
4.Sing a song:
I like ice cream.
5.Help others.
Show pictures of some children with worn-out clothes. Have students get to know the situation of these children and be willing to help them.(donate)
