①该句型用于描述某地过去不存在某物，相当于“There wasn' t/weren't+主语(+其他)”。was/wasn't 后接单数名词或不可数名词,were/weren't后接可数名词的复数形式。
②no意为“没有”,后面接名词,用法如下:
no+单数名词”相当于“not a/an+单数名词”;“no+复数名词/不可数名词”相当于“not any+复数名词/不可数名词”。

拓展：There be句型的“就近原则”
在There be句型中,如果be动词后面的主语是由and连接的两个或两个以上的名词，那么be动词的形式要遵循“就近原则”，也就是说，be动词用is/was还是are/ were是由离它最近的那个词的数来确定的。
例：There is a pen and two pencils on the desk.
书桌上有一支钢笔和两支铅笔。
There are some pens and a book on the floor.
地板上有一些钢笔和一本书。

辨析 There be与have
两者都有“有”的意思,但用法却不同:
There be表示某处/时存在某人或某物，强调客观存在;have表示某人拥有某物，强调所属关系。二者不可以连用。
例：There is a man under the tree.树下面有一个人。
I have a good friend.我有一个好朋友。

4.How do you know that 你怎么知道的
该句型用于询问他人如何得知某件事的。how用来询问方式;助动词用do或does由主语的单复数决定;know后接宾语，表示知道的内容;that用于指代上文中提到的事情。
