Sun Lin is a 69-year-old retired (退休的) man. When he was a child, he heard that some people cycled around China. He wanted to do so. But at that time, for most families, a bicycle was too expensive. Until 1975, when he began working, he bought his own bicycle. In the following years, he rode to work. Sun retired in 2014. Then he thought about trying something different. “I am getting older. I don’t want to have regrets (遗憾) in the future,” he said. “So I planned to enjoy the delight of cycling.”
