基变序，有规律，末尾加上-th；
一二三，特殊记，词尾分别t，d，d；
八去t，九去e，ve要用f替；
以y结尾变-ie，后跟-th莫忘记；
若想表示几十几，只变个位就可以。
考向1 基数词
（1）表示数量：表示人或事物的确切数量，用基数词＋可数名词单数/复数。如：one apple一个苹果；two pears两个梨。
（2）表示时刻：
①表示“……点”用“基数词＋o’clock”，如：nine o’clock 九点钟；
②表示“……点过……分”时，若分钟数小于或等于30分钟，用“基数词＋past+基数词”，如：twenty past three 三点二十分；
③表示“差……分到……点”时，若分钟数小于30分钟， 用“基数词＋to+基数词”， 如：twenty to three两点四十分（三点差二十分）。
（3）表示日期：
①年份用基数词，如：in 2023 在2023年；
②日期用序数词，如：on Sept.12th 在9月12日。
（4）表示年代和年龄：
①“in the+整十的年份的复数（年份的数字后加-s）”表示“在几世纪几十年代”。如：in the 1870s 在19世纪70年代
②表示年龄的句式。如：
He is a boy of 10 years old. =He is a 10-year-old boy. 他是一个10岁的男孩子。
③“at the age of+基数词”表示“在……岁时”。如：
At the age of ten, he was good at playing the piano. 他10岁时就擅长弹钢琴了。
④“in+one’s+整十的基数词复数”表示“在某人几十多岁时”。如：
When he was in his fifties, the man became a famous writer.这位男士在他50多岁时成为一名著名作家。
考向2 序数词
（1）序数词前加the， 其后接名词单数。如：
Father’s Day is on the third Sunday of June and it’s popular in the USA. 父亲节在六月的第三个星期天，该节日在美国很流行。
（2）序数词前若有形容词性物主代词、名词所有格等限定词时，则不用加the。如：
It is my third time to visit Beijing. 这是我第三次参观北京。
（3）序数词前面也可以加不定冠词a或an， 表示“又一，再”， 内含顺序性。如：
We’ve tried it three times. Must we try it a fourth time？ 我们已经试过三遍了。还需再试一次（第四次）吗？
考向三 概数词
（1）表示确切的数字：具体数字+概数词+可数名词复数。hundred， thousand, million, billion等词与具体的数字one, two…或several， some, many等词连用时，要用单数形式。如：
five hundred people五百人
two thousand books两千本书
many million trees几百万棵树
（2）表示不确切的数字:概数词加-s+of+可数名词复数，且前面不再加具体数字。如：thousands of factories成千上万家工厂
考向四 分数
用英文单词表示分数时，一般情况下，分子用基数词，分母用序数词，当分子大于一时，分母须用序数词的复数形式。
●1/2: one half, a half （不读作one second）
●1/3: one third或a third
●2/3: two thirds
●3/4: three quarters或three fourths
●2/5: two fifths
