义
表示现在或现阶段正在进行的动作或存在的状态。
构
成
be 动词 + 动词的现在分词
be动词有人称和数的变化
动词的现在分词构成规律
规则 例词
一般在动词原形末尾加-ing
play → playing do → doing
以不发音的e结尾的词，去掉e，再加-ing
take → taking
make → making
以重读闭音节结尾，且末尾只有一个辅音字母的动词，双写该辅音字母后加-ing
swim → swimming
stop → stopping
特殊的，以ie结尾的，将ie改
为y，再加-ing
die → dying
lie → lying
句型结构
1. 肯定句：主语＋be (am, is, are)＋现在分词＋其他.
例句：他正在读英语。
He is reading English.
2. 否定句：主语+be (am, is, are)+not+现在
分词+其他.
例句：她不是正在打扫教室。
She isn’t cleaning the classroom.
3. 一般疑问句：Be+主语+现在分词+其他？
肯定回答：Yes, 主语+be (am, is, are).
否定回答：No, 主语+be (am, is, are) +not.
例句：——孩子们现在正在打篮球吗？
——是的，他们在。/ 不，他们不在。

— Yes, they are. / No, they aren’t.
4. 特殊疑问句：疑问词 + be (am, is, are) + 主语 +
现在分词+其他？
例句：她正在家做什么？
What is she doing at home
（1）当句子中有 now 时，常表示动作正在进行。
（2）以 look, listen 类动词开头的句子，说明动作
正在进行。
判定方法
（3）表示当前一段时间或现阶段正在进行的动作，
且句中有 this week, these days 等时间状语时，
常用现在进行时。
（4）根据语境或上下文来判断。
