Language points
1. ... is cooking.
cook用作不及物动词,意为“做饭”;用作及物动词,意为“烹调;煮;烧”,cook sb. sth=cook sth. to sb.给某人做饭
Tell us how to cook. 告诉我如何做饭。
I want to cook my parents fish. 我想给父母做鱼。
=I want to cook fish to my parents.
拓展:① cook n. 厨师; cooker n. 厨具
The cook is cooking with the cooker now.
厨师现在正在用厨具做饭。
② cooking既是动词的-ing形式,也可作不可数名词。
短语:do some cooking 烹饪;做饭
本句是询问对方的处境或事情进展如何的习惯用语,后面可跟介词短语“with sb. /sth.”,可与 “How’s it going /How’s everything going ”等互换。常用答语有:Not bad. 还不错。/Pretty good! 相当不错!/Wonderful! 好极了!/Terrible! 糟糕透了!/Everything is going well. 一切进展顺利。

3. Can I take a message for him
Please take a message for Mike. 请给迈克捎个口信。
(1) Could you ... 意为“你能...... ”,用于委婉地提出请求。could为情态动词,比can更委婉、客气。肯定回答可用:Sure. /Of course. /Certainly. “当然可以。”;With please. “很乐意。”;No problem. “没问题。”。否定回答常用Sorry, I can’t. I ... “抱歉,我不能。我......。”
4. Could you just tell him to call me back
--Could you go to the movies with me 你可以和我一起去看电影吗?
--Sure. 当然。(肯定回答)
--Sorry, I can’t. I have to do my homework.
对不起,我不能。我得做我的家庭作业。(否定回答)
(2) tell v. 告诉
Please tell me your favorite actor. 请告诉我你最喜欢的演员。
常用结构:tell sb. sth 告诉某人某事
tell sb. about sth. 告诉某人关于某事
tell sb. (not) to do sth. 告诉某人(不)做某事
Let me tell you about our school. 让我告诉你关于我们学校的情况。

(3) back adv. 回来;回原处;adj. 后面的;n. 背部;后部

拓展: “No problem.”的其他用法:

①用于礼貌地回答某人的感谢,意为“不用谢/别客气”。

②用来回答道歉,意为“没关系/没什么”。
--I’m sorry I can’t go with you. 很抱歉我不能和你一起去。
--No problem. 没关系。
--Can you finish the work in an hour.
你能在一小时内完成这项工作吗?
③用来表示有能力做某事,意为“没问题/不在话下”。
--No problem. 没问题。
④用来表示安慰,意为“那没关系/那不成问题”。

(2) problem n. [C] 困难;难题
① problem指说话者认为难以解决的问题或数学、物理中的习
题,也指困难或麻烦。
The math problem is difficult. He can’t answer the question.
这道数学题很难。他回答不了这个问题。

② question指说话者需要寻找答案的问题,常与动词ask或
answer连用。

我的音频是嵌入式音频,所以老师们在使用我的课件的时候,不需要把课件和听力音频放到同一文件夹中,只需要课件就可以了。播放听力时,只需在其他任何地方按鼠标左键就可以了(不要点击小喇叭),就跟其他动画操作一样。用翻页笔的老师,只需要按翻页笔的“下一页”即可;如果想再听一遍,先按翻页笔的“上一页”,再按“下一页”就可以重复听。听完后如果按“下一页”,答案就会出现。
简单的一句话,我的课件中要播放听力,只需下翻页就可以。跟其他动画操作一样。
