一、教材分析(Analysis of Teaching Material)
本课选自外研社五年级下册Module10 Unit1 Where are you going ,本模块话题中是关于旅游的内容。这个单元贴近学生的生活,学生都很喜欢和家人一起旅游,他们对此很感兴趣。在教学中让学生学会与人交流,跟人流利地讨论、描述出游,和家人一起准备出游的物资。引导学生在真实的语言环境中,描述自己的生活经历,乐于用英语与大家分享自己的快乐。
二、学情分析(Analysis of Students)
五年级的学生经过两年的英语学习,有一定的英语知识和技能基础,非常活泼,有很强的模仿能力和自主自律能力,但学习目的性不强,兴趣不高。因此,我会创设情境,灵活运用多种教学方法,注意培养他们的听、说、读能力,使学生敢于开口、乐于开口,积极参与学习,以提高综合运用英语的能力。
三、 教学目标(Teaching Objectives)
(一)知识与能力目标(Knowledge and Ability Objectives)
1.熟练掌握本模块的重点单词:when, end, nervous, airport, ticket, passport, safe,
2. 熟练掌握本模块的重点短语:where are you, all right
3. 能够理解并运用句型:Where are you going
4. 学生可以使用新的短语和句型描述将要发生的事情,学会列旅游清单、计划。
5. 学生能掌握本节课的语法要点:疑问代词+be+主语+doing
(二)过程与方法目标(Procedure and Method Objective)
在教师的指导下,学生通过参与课堂活动可以很好地理解课文和语法要点。在教学过程中,情景教学法和任务型教学法有很大的帮助。
(三)情感目标(Emotion and Value Objective)
1.学会列清单、做计划。2.学会用英语和朋友讨论旅游经历。

Step 1 Warming up(2mins)
1. Say hello to students.
【设计意图】和学生用英语打招呼把学生的注意力吸引到课堂上,让他们将语言思维从中文模式转换成英文模式。
2. Let’s chant
I say airport, you say where.
I say seven o'clock, you say when.
I say ticket, you say what.
I say Amy, you say who.
I say by plane, you say how.
【设计意图】激起学生的胜负欲,提高他们学习的兴趣。
Step 2 Lead in( 3mins)
1. Watch and answer
(1)Where are they going
They are going on holiday.
(2)What are Peppa and George going to take
Teddy and dinosaur.
2.Introduce groups and reward
把男生女生分为两组,进行PK。
Step 3 Presentation and drills( 19mins)
1.New words learning.
Learn the new words with the help of pictures and explanation and then dill individually.
T: Look at these pictures, they are Beihai, it’s very beautiful, right I'm going to Beihai this weekend. My mother ask me :“Where are you going this weekend ” Look at my suitcase, What am I going to take I'm going to take clothes, shoes, presents, the ticket and my passport. Look at this picture, this is a passport. Look at this word, pass. And this word, port. Read after me, pass, port, passport, passport.
2. New phrases learning.
Learn the new phrases with the help of pictures、 sentences and explanation and dill individually.
T: First, Let’s look at the picture. This is Amy, and this is Amy's mother. Mother says, “where are you going this weekend ” Amy says, “I'm going to Beihai.” Tomorrow is sunny, where are you going Daming Oh,you are going to the park. Where are you going, Lily You are going to the supermarket with your mum. That sounds nice.

1) At the beginning of learning the text,watch a video to bring the students into the situation and learn the usage of will.
【设计意图】给学生创设一个有趣的语言情景,让学生更好学习“Where are you doing ”“What are you going to do ”的用法。
2) Watch the video for the first time and underline.
Underline sentences about “where”, “when”, “who”, “how” and “what”.
【设计意图】看视频画句子,更好地锻炼学生听、看的能力,给予学生更多的自学空间。
3) Watch the video and read in roles.
【设计意图】在学生掌握课文后鼓励学生进行角色扮演,并通过观看视频再去模仿,这样有利于培养学生的模仿能力,提高其语音语调和听说能力,帮助其快速记忆课文。

Step 5 Summary and homework(4mins)
1. Summary
Summarize what we learned today.
【设计意图】帮助学生总结本节课所学新知识,巩固学生对单词、短语、句型的记忆。
2. Homework
1)Read the text three times.
2)Make a weekend to-do list in English or Chinese.
【设计意图】弥补课堂讲授之不足,加深学生的理解,让学生反复练习以达到完全掌握的程度。
