Writing
Write a description of an iconic animal in China.
The giant panda
Of all the animals, I like giant pandas best. The giant panda, whose home is in Sichuan Province, is known as the national treasure of China. Pandas live in the beauty of nature where they can enjoy their lives happily.
Giant pandas are very beautiful animals with black and white fur like big cats. They usually eat bamboo shoots and leaves and live in bamboo forests, where they can climb trees and play games. I like giant pandas because they are so lovely!
But giant pandas are still an endangered species. I think giant pandas need our help and protection. We should take action to protect giant pandas and let them live in the wild happily.
Homework
Take your draft back and revise it using your partner comments. And present your new description to the rest of your class.
Thank you!
