Procedures Step 1 Warming-up Ask one student to choose a card of illness and do an action, then asks "What's the matter with him/her ' The other students guess according to the action. Step 2 Pre-listening Look at the pictures and talk about in pairs what they should do. Then put the actions in order. (1a) Step 3 Listening (1b&1c) 1.Talk about the problems and the treatments.Then listen t the tape. Then ask one or two students to check the answers. (1b) 2.Listen again. Write the letter of each treatment next to the problems. Then ask the students to listen and repeat. (1c) Step 4 Role-play 1.Role-play a conversation between the nurse and th teacher.
