我认为纸是一项伟大的发明。
此句是一个复合句，是宾语从句，也就是作宾语的是一个完整的句子。此句中，think 意思是“认为”,其后面跟的是一个完整的句子。great 是形容词,意思是“伟大的”，修饰名词invention。
