Sheila’s problemSheila is a high school senior. She recently befriended Bev, a new girl in her class. Bev has responded very warmly for her new friend. She calls and e-mails Sheila frequently. She wants to eat lunch with Sheila every day. She often hangs around Sheila’s classroom, waiting to talk to her. She has also stated that Sheila is her “one and only” best friend. Sheila is beginning to find all this attention quite irritating and her other friends have begun joking about “ Sheila’s shadow”.What might have caused Bev’s needy behavior?
What can Sheila say or do to let Bev know that she still cares about her?
If Sheila wants to talk about this problem with Bev, how should she say it?
Is there a way that Sheila can have some “space” without hurting or even losing Bev?

whether 或 if 来引导,不能用 that。e.g.

whether。

not.
