设计思想
教材分析:
清华版小学英语这套教材体现以学生为本的新基础教育的课程教材观,即以学生的主体性、创造性、实践性为本,在为学生打好语言基础的同时,提高其语言运用能力,加强对学生综合素质的培养。本课共有三个板块:
1. Work in pairs. 呈现了谈论想成为飞行员和宇航员的对话情景。对话中继续提供了学习询问某人长大后理想职业的功能句型,并通过 I want to ...句 型尝试表达喜欢这一职业的原因;
2. Listen, look and say. 教材提供了供学生学习的单词及相应图画:pilot, plane, astronaut, moon;
3. Listen to the story. Finish the sentences with words from the story to answer the questions. 本部分设计了短文的听力和文字材料,供学生进行听力和阅读训练。同时短文下设计了读问句、看图选词完成句子的练习。该板块旨在训练学生的听力理解、根据问句,读图获取信息的能力。
学情分析:
本课的授课对象是小学四年级学生。有了三年多学习英语的经验,他们能够熟练地运用简单的英语进行日常对话,而且,学生对学习英语表现出浓厚的兴趣。能听懂日常简单的口语,能进行简单的英语交流,有一些词汇积累,已经开始逐步感知到字母组合的发音规律。
教学目标
语言知识能力目标:
1. 能看图,听音指认、说出单词:pilot, plane, astronaut, moon;
2. 能够运用功能句 What do you want to be when you grow up 询问他人未来的理想职业,并做出回答;
3. 能用功能句型 I want to ... 表达自己喜欢某一职业的原因;
4. 能在语境中正确理解句子和获取准确的信息。
学习策略、情感态度目标:
1. 通过本课的学习能对比pilot 和astronaut,进一步了解这两个职业;
2. 通过努力学习可以进一步达成职业愿望。
教学重点
1. 学习、表演课文对话;
2. 模仿操练功能句;
3. 阅读理解,完成补全句子和回答问题的任务。

【设计意图】 本单元已经学了很多职业,先让学生复习句型,逐步引入本课主题。 Presentation 1.
T: Well, our friend Mike also likes dreaming. What does he want to be when he grows up Let’s listen and find out.
Ss: He wants to be an astronaut.
2. Listen again and answer three questions.
3. T: Why does he feel so light We are only 1/6 of our weight on the moon. 30kg*1/6=5kg Mike wants to jump high. He wants to be an astronaut. He wants to travel to the moon. Learn “the moon”, “astronaut”, “spacesuit”, “spaceship”.

5. T: Who can fly planes and travel around the earth Learn “pilot”, “the earth”, “pilot uniform”, “plane” Practice the target sentences “I want to be a pilot.” “I want to fly a plane.” 【设计意图】 由听力部分作为引入,教授目标词汇、句型;让学生理解在月球只有地球1/6的重量,所以会“feel light” “jump high”,为接下来对比astronaut和pilot做准备。
