T asks Ss to look at the pictures in 1a, then read the names of the story in the box.
2 . Match the story titles with the pictures (a-d).
3. T says, We will hear a great Chinese traditional story. Are you ready
1. Work on 1b. I plays the recording for the Ss to listen.
2. I plays the recording again. Let Ss check the facts they hear.
3. Listen and Repeat.
4. T gets Ss to work in pairs to discuss the questions in 1c.

7. T plays the recording for the Ss to listen and number the pictures.
8 Check the answers.
Go through 2b, T lets Ss read the five sentences.Then explain some main sentences for the Ss. make sure Ss know the meaning of each sentence.
10. T plays the recording for the Ss to to circle the correct words in the brackets
11. T plays the recording again and checks the answers.
12. T lets Ss listen again and repeat.
