(1) have a great/good time doing sth意为“愉快地做某事”。相当于have fun doing sth.。

(2) visit 的用法：
① v. 拜访；参观
I visit my grandparents every week. 我每周都去看望我的祖父母。
② n. 拜访；参观。短语：pay a visit to 去...旅游；参观；看望

be happy to do sth. 意为“高兴做某事”，是be + adj. + to do sth 结构。
I’m happy to see you. 看见你我很高兴的。

5. Are you studying hard, or are you having fun
hard的用法：
He is working hard at his English.他在努力学习英语。
①用作副词，意为“努力地”，也可意为“大量地；猛烈地；
重重地”，相当于heavily。
It’s raining hard outside. 外面雨下得很大。
②用作形容词，意为“困难的；费力的；坚硬的；艰难的”。
That’s a hard question. 那是个很难的问题。
It’s hard/difficult for them to get there on time.
对他们来说按时到那儿很难。
He lives a very hard life. 他的日子过得很艰难。
The chair is too hard. 这把椅子太硬了。
【辨析】hard与hardly
hard 可用作形容词，也可用作副词，意为“努力地；艰难地；大量地；猛烈地；重重地”，用在实义动词后。
hardly 用作副词，表示频率，“几乎不”，用在实义动词前。
It is raining so hard that we can hardly go out.
雨下的这么大，我们几乎不能出去。
【一言辨异】
6. My family and I are on a vacation in the mountains.
on a vacation “在度假”，相当于on vacation，介词on用来说明活动或状态。
They’re on (a) vacation in Pairs. 他们正在巴黎度假。
go on vacation “去度假”，表示动作；be on vacation “在度假”，表示状态。
短语：summer vacation 暑假 winter vacation 寒假
【辨析】vacation与holiday
vacation 主要用于美式英语，既可表示长时间的假期，也可指一两天的短时间的假日，在英式英语中则主要指“大学的假期”。
holiday 单数形式可指一两天的短期假日；较长时间的假期常用复数形式，单也可用单数形式。
7. I want to call you but my phone isn’t working, so I’m writing to you.
(1) work 此处用作动词，意为“运转”，表示仪器、设备的“运作；运行”，这种情形下，若用于否定结构，大多表示某一物件“坏掉了”或“不运作了”。Sth. isn’t working. /Sth. doesn’t work.相当于There is sth. wrong with ... 或Sth. is broken.
The clock isn’t working now. 现在钟坏了。
work也可指效果或作用，作动词使用，通常使用短语work well，意为“效果不错；作用良好”。
(2) write to ... 给......写信，相当于write a letter to ...
The boy wants to write to his cousin. 这个男孩想给他的表弟写封信。
=The boy wants to write a letter to his cousin.
对应短语：hear from sb. =receive/get a letter from sb. 收到某人的来信
I often hear fom my pen pal. 我经常收到笔友的来信。
=I often receive/get a letter from my pen pal.
write back to sb. 给某人回信
I must write back to my pen pal. 我必须给我的笔友回信。
8. It’s hot in your country now, isn’t it
本句是一个反意疑问句，表示提出看法，问对方同意与否。这种问句都由两部分组成，前一部分为陈述形式，后一部分为简短问句。如果前一部分为肯定形式，后一部分通常用否定形式，否定形式必须缩写，即“前肯后否”；如果前一部分是否定形式，后一部分通常用肯定形式，即“前否后肯”。而且后一部分的主谓与前一部分的主谓在人称、时态和数上要保持一致。
He likes dogs, doesn’t he 他喜欢狗，不是吗？
She can’t swim, can she 她不会游泳，是吗？
注意：对反意疑问句的回答要根据实际情况而定。事实为肯定的就用Yes回答；事实为否定的就用No回答。Yes后面一定跟肯定句，No后面一定跟否定句。

比尔不想去购物，是吗？
--Yes, he does. 不，他想去。
--No, he doesn’t. 是的，他不想去。

许多下载我的课件的老师可能都遇到了同样的麻烦：听力操作比较麻烦。好多老师在给学生播放听力时，习惯于点击课件上的“小喇叭”图标，在使用我的课件时也用了同样的方法，结果却遇到了前所未有的麻烦，不知怎么办才好。下面我给大家讲解一下我的课件中的听力操作方法：
我的音频是嵌入式音频，所以老师们在使用我的课件的时候，不需要把课件和听力音频放到同一文件夹中，只需要课件就可以了。播放听力时，只需在其他任何地方按鼠标左键就可以了（不要点击小喇叭），就跟其他动画操作一样。用翻页笔的老师，只需要按翻页笔的“下一页”即可；如果想再听一遍，先按翻页笔的“上一页”，再按“下一页”就可以重复听。听完后如果按“下一页”，答案就会出现。
简单的一句话，我的课件中要播放听力，只需下翻页就可以。跟其他动画操作一样。
