一、教学目标
1 知识目标:
掌握本课主要生词并能熟练的听说认读run,fast,sky,high,winner,far,afraid和词组 run fast,jump high ,jump far, ride fast 及听懂理解会说Can you …的句型和肯定回答Yes, I can. 否定回答No ,I can’t.
2 能力目标:
通过本课的学习了解运用can来询问别人的能力问题,表达自己会或者不会做的事情。
3 情感目标:
通过各种活动,使学生之间相互了解。激发其学习英语的兴趣,树立学好英语的信心.
二、教学重点:
能够区分,理解词组 run fast,jump high ,jump far, ride fast 并运用于Can you …的句型。
三、教学难点:
将新学词汇运用于“I can…”和“can you…?”句型中,联系生活实际进行运用和交流。
四、教具:
多媒体课件、单词卡片等。
五、教学过程:
Step1: Warming up
1.Teacher greets with students.
2.Students sing the song “if you are happy.”(play the short video about this song ,ask students to watch, sing and act together.)
3.Revision:
Show students some pictures and ask questions “what is he doing What are they doing ....”
Step2:Presentation
1.Learn new words:
(1)Show students picture about “run fast”.
T:What is the pig doing
S: 跑的很快。
T:Yes, it is running. It can run fast. (出示新词卡片,教授新词run,fast)I can run fast Can you run fast
Teacher guides students to understand: If you can, please nod your head and say “Yes, I can.”(板书)If you can’t, shake your head and say “No, I can’t.”(板书)
S1: Yes, I can.
S2: No, I can’t.
(2)Show students picture about “ride fast”.
T:What is he doing
S1: He is riding a bike.
T:Yes, he can ride fast. Can you ride fast
S1: Yes, I can.
S2: No, I can’t.
(3)Show students picture about “jump high”.
T:What is he doing
S: 跳高。
T:Yes, he is jumping. He can jump high (出示新词卡片,教授新词high)Can you jump high
S1: Yes, I can.
S2: No, I can’t.
(4)Show students picture about “jump far”.
T:What is she doing
S: 跳远。
T:Yes, she is jumping. She can jump far (出示新词卡片,教授新词high)Can you jump far
S1: Yes, I can.
S2: No, I can’t.
1.Play a game. (Throw the bomb. 学生跟着老师读单词,老师读对的,学生要跟着读;如果老师读错了,学生也跟着读错的话,其他同学就往这个学生边扔炸弹边说bomb)
2.Sing a song together.
4. Learn the test.
(1) Open the book, turn to P26.Watch the video of activity 1. (教授新词sky)
(2)Watch the video of activity 2.
T:Listen to the tape and answer the question.
S1: ...
T:Listen to the tape again and find the winner. (教授新词winner)
S2: ...
(3) Read with tape and teacher. (教授新词afraid)
Step3:Consolidation
Let students to be teachers. (让学生分别扮演Sam,Amy,Daming,Lingling来带领全班学生读书。)
Step4:Practice
1.Make a short dialogue according the pictures on PPT.
2.Do some excises on the PPT.
Step5:Summing up and homework
1.Summing up: Read the words and sentences on the blackboard.
2.Homework: Copy the new words.
Recite the text.
Do the excises.
