课程标准分析 据课程标准在必修阶段的要求:学生能够在不太熟悉的语境中,围绕选择性必修课程内容所涉及的人与自我、人与社会和人与自然等主题语境,使用所学的语言知识和文化知识,综合运用学习策略,理解选择性必修课程所规定的不同类型语篇所传递的意义、意图和情感态度,理解语篇中不同的文化元素及其内涵,分析不同语篇类型的结构特征和语言特点,并能以口头或书面形式陈述事件、传递信息、再现真实或想象的经历、阐释观点和态度等。Vocabulary部分学生主要通过观看图片和阅读短文学习关于自然灾害的有关词汇及知识,能够谈论自然灾害的类型、发生的时间、地点及危害; 据课程标准在必修阶段的要求,学生能通过看与读,抓住日常生活语篇的大意,获取其中的主要信息、观点和文化背景;能借助多模态语篇中的非文字资源,理解语篇的意义。Starting out部分学生是通过观看视频和海报,分析自然灾害带来的结果,初步思考如何面对灾害,为接下来整个单元的学习活动做铺垫和预热。
教学内容分析 本课时为本单元第1课时,包含Vocabulary部分和Starting out部分。 Vocabulary部分通过图片呈现与自然灾害有关的词汇,旨在引导学生掌握并运用自然灾害相关的话题词汇,并运用这些词汇表达个人观点; Starting out包含一段关于被火山爆发毁灭的意大利庞贝古城的视频和四幅灾难电影的海报。视频旨在通过展示满目疮痍的庞贝古城,引发学生思考,了解自然灾害对于人类历史的重大影响;四幅灾难电影海报,能够进一步激发学生的学习兴趣,引导学生关注自然灾害的突发性和破坏性,对如何应对自然灾害有初步的感知。
学生学情分析 学生对自然灾害有一定了解,但缺乏相关词汇及背景知识;(知识储备) 学生可能对本课出现的灾难片内容不了解,教师可鼓励学生课前预习了解,提高学习兴趣;(学习兴趣) 学生具备获取细节信息(灾难类型、发生时间、地点、危害)的阅读能力,可能欠缺概括分析原因的能力。(学科能力水平)
学习目标叙写 (1)通过阅读和观看视频,获得关于自然灾害的具体信息; (2)能够分析自然灾害带来的结果,初步思考如何面对灾害; (3)能够谈论经历或者听说的自然灾害。
评价任务设计 1) 通过活动3,绘制并分享关于自然灾害的思维导图; 2. 通过活动6,谈论并分享经历或者听说的自然灾害; EvaluationContentCover type of disaster, time, place, frightening scene people’s reaction and damage it caused;Languageuse the newly learned expressions;Performancespeak confidently and fluently; use proper body language.
学习活动设计 教师活动学生活动环节一:Free talk教师活动1 T asks a question; “When talking about the disaster, what comes to your mind at first ”学生活动1 Ss say something about the question “When talking about the disaster, what comes to your mind at first ”活动意图说明: 激活学生对本单元主题——自然灾害相关的话题知识和语言知识,引入自然灾害话题环节二:View and name教师活动2 T presents some pictures of disasters and asks their names.学生活动2 Ss look at the pictures and name the disasters. 活动意图说明: 帮助学生学会借助图片、表格等多模态资源,获取和记忆主题词汇,丰富学生对自然灾害的话题词汇。环节三:Read and complete教师活动3 1.T asks Ss to complete the reports with the words in Activity 4. 2.
