Lead in (4mins) T asks Ss to watch a video about the changes in China, and asks them what can they see in the video. Key: The great changes in China. T asks Ss the driving of the changes in China. Key: The reform and opening-up. Catch Ss’ attention about the topic.
Step 1 Pre-listening (3mins) T asks Ss to learn some words and expressions. (driving—驱动力; special economic zone—经济特区occupation—职业 skyscraper —摩天大楼...) T shows the listening skill---focus on the key words Prepare the words and expressions and the listening skill.
