Identify key words from the main idea in a sentence. Use simple sentences to communicate with others with the help of cues. Identify and discriminate between a small range of basic consonant sounds Participate actively and work with others to complete a task, respecting their rights.
单元学情分析 This chapter is about actions at the beach: collect shells, listen to the waves, swallow salty water, smell and eat food on a barbecue, touch the warm sand, walk on the sand. They are difficult for them to remember. They can ask and answer What questions about things people like and do not like doing at the beach.
单元学习目标 1. Use interrogative pronouns to find out specific information about a person. 2. Use prepositions to indicate places. 3. Use the simple present tense to express interests. 4. Use gerunds to refer to activities 5. Use connectives to add information. 6. Use adjectives to describe objects. 7. Use nouns to identify objects. 8. Use personal pronouns as objects to identify objects.

课时学习目标 1. Students should be able to understand the characteristics of the questionnaire and use the key words and phrases to fill in it correctly. 2. Students should be able to talk about the content of the questionnaire with the partner. 3. Students should be able to use the key words and phrases proficiently and correctly in terms of listening, speaking, reading and spelling.
重点及解决 Introduce the characteristics and function of a questionnaire and lead students to use a questionnaire in their study or life.

Grammar points: like doing sth want to do sth First, review the phrase ‘like doing sth’. Ask students ‘What do you like’ and ‘What do you like doing’. Invite some students to answer the questions. Then, students work in pairs to ask and answer this question. Ask the to pay attention to ‘smelling’ and ‘eating’ in the sentence ‘I like smelling and eating food on a barbecue.’ Use the same way to practice ‘want to do sth’. (2) Dictation Have a dictation among students. Before the dictation, explain the difficult words first. Use phonics way to help students remember. Review the old knowledge to stimulate students' memory of the words and sentences. 10
2. Present 1. Learn ‘a questionnaire’ with the teacher. 2. Look at the picture of the questionnaire in the book and find out the typical points of it. 3. Learn the key words and sentences after teacher. 2.1 Introduce ‘a questionnaire’. Show students some pictures of a questionnaire and explain what a questionnaire is. Introduce the pronunciation and spelling of this word. 2.2 Introduce the characteristics of the questionnaire. Ask students to look at the picture of the questionnaire in the book and find out the typical points of it. Explain a questionnaire should have a title, the writer’s name, the descriptions and the charts. 2.3 Teach the key words. 2.4 Teach the content of the questionnaire. 2.5 Teach the key sentences. Practice Work in pairs to ask and answer the questions in the questionnaire. Introduce his or her questionnaire to other students. Fill in the questionnaire. Students Students should interview his or her partner and finish the questionnaire. Then, invite one or two students to come to the board and introduce his or her questionnaire to other students. Help the students understand the questionnaire by working in groups. 10
Consolidation Finish the exercises of the workbook and then check the answers. Finish page 25 of the workbook. First, ask students to read the requirement together. Then, review the phrases and explain some difficult points of doing this part. Ask students to check the capitalization, spellings, space and compunctions of the sentence writing. Help pupils master the main points better in this class. 5
