本节课所涉及的内容是Unit 9 Wha ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )t does he look like？的一节听说课，旨在锻炼学生的听说的能力。此课的内容旨在谈论人的外表形象(look), 教材内容围绕着描述人的外貌特点展开，让学生学会谈论人的身高、体重、发型、面部特征及着装特点，因此 ‘talking about sb’s look’ 是教学重点。通过对本单元的学习，学生能掌握本单元出现的表示人外观的词组及句型。
本课的课堂引导学生围绕What does ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )he/she look like？话题展开，课堂设计环节衔接自然，重难点突出，教师注重引导学生去倾听、去会话。整堂课非常注重落实，由易到难，逐步过度，注重重点知识的多次不同形式的复现，注重学生说练的结合。这节课本着以生为本的教学理念，运用现代技术手段，创设真实情境，增加了语言教学的直观性，密度大、节奏快、立体形象，对学生产生了强烈的感观刺激，使学生产生了积极的认知情绪，较好的掌握了目标语。精心设计的任务环节，使学生在完成任务的过程中，自然的运用了目标语，达到了语言为交际服务的目地，提高了语言的综合运用能力。本次猜朋友活动面向全体同学，教师是组织者、引导者；学生是活动的主体，各种任务的设计，既培养了他们的口语表达能力，又培养了他们的合作精神，同时听、写的能力也得到了提高。
本课的不足之处是在前面的活动中，激趣不够， ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )学生的兴趣点起不来，应在导入时及时激发抓住学生的胃口。另外，由于组与组之间的差异，有的组任务完成的速度快，无事可做，有的组速度慢，规定时间完不成任务。在同一组中，有的同学说得较多，有的同学只有一两句，所以在今后的活动中，要考虑动态分组，课下小组活动延伸等改进措施。Unit 9 What does he look like
