Step 1. Lead-in Hello, boys and girls. Welcome to my English class！ I want to share a piece of video with you. What are they They are colorful crayons. Step 2. Presentation Look! Ms Smart prepares so many crayons. Ms Smart: Class begins. Sam, please give out the crayons. 上课啦！Sam 请把这些蜡笔分发给同学们。 Sam: All right. 好的 Sam: ... eleven, twelve, thirteen,fourteen, fifteen, sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, nineteen. There are only nineteen crayons. But there are twenty children in the class! Please pay attention to these words: eleven, twelve, thirteen,fourteen, fifteen, sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, nineteen, twenty. 它们都是基数词。11，12需要特殊记忆。那仔细观察13-19，它们有什么共同点呢？不错！它们的词尾都有后缀teen。但是three-thirteen, five-fifteen, eight-eighteen并不是直接加teen的哦！ What is the matter There are only nineteen crayons. There's one on the floor! 是的！它们的结构是相同的，都是There is/are +其他构成的。There be 句型表示存在……和有…… 强调某处有某物。需要注意的是be动词的时态和单复数的变化。 There is + 可数名词单数/不可数名词。 There are+可数名词复数。 Step 3.
