教学目标：
1正确朗读下列词汇：community, child, sport, close, far, service,area, sleep, move, countryside, city, noisy, traffic...
2关于社区的学习，然后进一步围绕社区设施及居住环境等展开讨论和学习。
如： — What kind of home do you live in — It’s a townhouse with two floors.
— How many floors are there in your building — There are seven.
— Do you like living there — Yes.
There are many birds flying in the sky.
The traffic is heavy. The cost of living is high.The air is fresh and life is quiet.

Step 1 复习
复习AB中房屋的类型
Step 2 导入
老师住在公寓楼里，很多公寓楼在一起就是一个小区。一起来看看下面这个图片里的小区吧！
1.Look at the picture and say the following places in English, such as shops, school ...看图，复习社区配套设施名称，引入生词。（单词教学在音标，音节，词性，拓展环节之后再给孩子两分钟时间去背记单词，并抽查背记情况，把单词关过扎实。）
2.Do you like living in this area Why
3.我们一起听听琳达喜欢自己的社区吗？
Step3 练习
①听1a录音（短文），判断正误。
②阅读1a，划出设施名称。
③观看1a的Flash动画，跟读，练习。填空1b。（课文后面的习题让孩子自己来做，不要急于公布答案）
Step4 巩固
1.阅读1a，讲解1a中的重难点解析.（讲解后给孩子背记时间，再次抽查短语）
2.让学生能简单介绍自己的居住环境。（组内讨论所给问题，并用几句话来描述自己的居住环境。）
3.写作练习，用上1a句型。
4.练习，检查答案，让学生对本节重点知识自检。

有的房子在乡村，有的在城市。你喜欢乡村还是城市呢？我们一起来看下面的图片。
Step6 呈现
1.Look at the pictures and discuss the differences between cities and the countryside.看图讨论城市和乡村的不同之处。（组内讨论所给问题，并用几句话来城乡差别）2.Listen to 2a and then mark True (T) or False (F). 听2a录音，让学生了解如何表达城市和农村的不同。然后进行阅读训练，根据短文内容判断正误。
3.2b. Read 2a again and list the key words or phrases. Then add more.
解说2a生词或知识点。
4.再读2a，罗列关键词（做个小写作，再次巩固课文知识）

1.总结语法和功能句。
2.听1录音（短文），选择正确答案。
