1. How’s the weather in Shanghai
(1) How’s the weather 意为“天气怎么样？”该句型常用于询问天气状况，其同义句为：What’s the weather like

(2) weather是不可数名词。意为“天气”，其同音异形词是whether(是否)，常用短语：
fine weather好/晴天
cloudy weather 阴天
weather forecast 天气预报
2. It’s cloudy.
cloudy是形容词，意为“阴天的，多云的”，是由名词cloud加上后缀-y构成的。
英语中有许多名词可以加y构成形容词，这样的词叫派生词。如表达天气的形容词还有：
wind (风) + y = windy（有风的，多风的）；
rain(雨) + y = rainy（有雨的）；
sun(太阳) + y = sunny（阳光明媚的）
snow(雪) + y = snowy (有雪的，多雪的)
注：以“一个元音字母 + 一个辅音字母”结尾的名词，需先双写末尾的辅音字母，再加y，才能变成形容词。
如：sun(太阳) + y = sunny(晴朗的， 阳光灿烂的)
fog(雾) + y =foggy(有雾的，模糊的)
3. rain的用法
rain做名词时，分为可数和不可数两种情况。
（1）当表示“雨”时，不可数
（2）当表示“一阵雨；雨季”时，可数
如：a heavy rain 一场大雨
rain作动词时，意为“下雨”。
如：It’s raining outside. 外面在下雨。
