1教学目标
1.知识与技能:能够理解说出以下短语和句子play football, play basketball, play volleyball, watch the games. What are they doing They are ….we’re watching the games.并在真实情境,现实生活中初步使用这些语言。
2.过程与方法:在教师指导帮助下,通过自学、讨论、质疑、解惑的过程,运用听说读写等方法学习知识,掌握技能。
3.情感态度与价值观:能够在游戏、竞赛中与其他同学积极配合与合作,敢于英语表达正在进行的动作,体会到学习英语的乐趣,培养爱好体育运动的好习惯。
2学情分析
任课年级是五年级的学生,他们聪明活泼,勤奋好学,善于模仿,已经有了一定量的词汇量储备,积累了一定的英语学习经验,形成了初步的英语语感,具备了一定的语言能力。根据教学目标及学生学习风格的要求,教师在教学设计中需多开展合作性课堂活动和小组竞赛,让学生体验学习语言和交流表达的快乐,促进
3重点难点
重点:能够听说认读短语play football, play basketball, play volleyball, watch the games.并能在句中灵活运用。熟练掌握句型What are they doing They are ….we’re watching the games.
难点:现在进行时的运用,动词变现在分词如何变换形式,现在分词的读音,主语单复数Be动词的用法等。

活动1【导入】Warming-up/Revision

2、Ask and answer
播放PPT问答What’s he/she doing He/She is…ing.
3、Watch a video
T: In this video, we can see some famous athletes and some sports, Today let me introduce some sports games to you.
活动2【讲授】Presentation
实物教学,依次出示足球、篮球、排球,学习词汇football、basketball、volleyball. Then read them over and over again.
通过PPT展示短语play football, play basketball, play volleyball,
Then ask the students to pass the ball one by one and read it. At last, the boy who takes the ball can answer the teacher’s question: What are you doing I am playing football/basketball/volleyball.
播放视频,以此引出What are they doing They are playing football/playing basketball/playing volleyball.
Ask the students to practice in pairs.
继续播放比赛画面,借此询问T: Boys and girls, What are you doing
Ss: We are watching the games.
活动3【游戏】Play a game
抢球游戏,运用新知,三名学生到台前来,听到老师的指令后快速抢到球,获胜者将有机会选择他的朋友一起玩球。借此巩固问答:What are they doing They are playing football/basketball/volleyball. What are you doing We are watching the games.
活动4【讲授】Text
1、课文学习,PPT出示Gao Wei 学校操场的图片,提出问题,让学生通过问题录音,捕捉相关问题的答案,并完成相关表格。

2、再次播放录音,并跟读。Listen to the text again, read it sentence by sentence.

学生自由读课文 Read the dialogue freely.
分角色朗读 Role-play reading.
小组操练,分角色表演 Practice the dialogue in groups, then come to the front to act the dialogue.
