1.表示 “A 比 B 长（宽、高、大、重等）N 倍”时，其结构为“A ＋ be ＋ 基数词（N＋1）＋times ＋ 形容词比较级 ＋ than ＋ B ”。
e.g. 这个大厅比我们的教室大四倍。
e.g. 他跑得比他弟弟快三倍。
This hall is five times bigger than our classroom.
He runs three times faster than his brother.
注意：“两倍”可用twice表示。
拓展:倍数的表达方法
2.表示“A 的长度（宽度，高度，大小，重量等）是 B 的 N 倍”，可用 “A ＋ be ＋ 基数词（N）＋times ＋ as ＋ 形容词原级 ＋ as ＋ B”结构。
e.g. 这棵树是那棵树的三倍高。
e.g. 他父亲的年纪有他两倍大。
This tree is three times as tall as that one.
His father is twice as old as he.
同义句：“A+谓语动词+倍数+the height / weight / length …+of + B ”表示“A的高度/重量/长度……是B的多少倍”。
This tree is three times the length of that one.
His father is twice the age of he.

Language points
③对重量提问时，常用句型有：“How much do / does / did + 主语 + weigh ”或“How heavy be + 主语 ”。
其名词形式为weight。常用短语：in weight在体重方面。
【拓展延伸】weight 作名词，意为“重量；分量”。put on/gain weight 表示“增加体重”；lose weight 表示“减重”。
e.g. 我称了这个盒子，它重20公斤。
