Unit 2 In the circus 教学设计
学情分析：
本课是本单元的第四课时，教学内容较多、语篇较长，是二年级学生接触英语以来遇到的最长语篇。学生通过两年的学习已经有了一定的基础，愿意开口表达，为了降低难度，也为了消除学生可能出现的畏难情绪。我将本课的语篇分层教学，开展一个个活动，让学生在参与完成活动的过程中习得语言、体验成功。
教学目标：
1．知识与技能：
(1) 能听懂、会说句型 “I have… She has… He has…”,并能在各种情境中得体运用。
(2)形容词“big, small, little, fat, thin, long, short, tall”的运用。
(3)掌握特殊疑问句“Who is my friend Who is she ”的用法。
2.过程与方法 ：以活动为主线，采用任务型教学途径，让学生在玩中学、学中玩，寓学于乐。
3．情感态度价值观：通过各种游戏活动激发学生的学习兴趣，在小组活动中培养他们的合作、参与意识，形成良好的团队精神。同时渗透思想教育，即动物是我们的朋友，要爱护动物。
教学重点：能够运用所学的知识对小动物进行描述和介绍
教学难点：语篇较长表达有难度
教学准备：动物卡片、单词卡片、头饰、课件
教学过程：
一． Greeting
Good morning. How are you
二．Warm up
1. Look and say S: long, short, big, small, little, fat, thin, tall, strong ,black, white, grey, yellow, brown, pink, green
2. Say the rhyme
Jump jump I can jump .
Walk walk I can walk .
Run run I can run .
Fly fly I can fly .
Strong strong I am strong .
3. Listen and do it
T: Touch your eyes/nose/ mouth/ears/face.
4. look and say
Teddy Bear, Teddy bear, Shake your head. Little monkey, Little monkey. Go to bed. Big tiger, big tiger. Jump to your right. Fat elephant, fat elephant. Shake your nose Lovely panda, lovely panda.
Shake your hand. Brown horse, brown horse. Say “Hello”!
三．Revision
T: Teacher shows ppt and ask
T： What do you see
S: I see a tiger ,panda ,horse, bear, monkey ,elephant,
四．Presentation
1.Teacher point to one picture and say : Look at the tiger. She ’s big and strong. She is yellow and brown She can run It has a big mouth.
She is my friend.
T : Who is your friend Can you introduce it
Students imitate the teacher introduce the picture of animal.
2. 1) Teacher shows picture about rabbit and say the text.
2) students practice the text by themselves and show it .
五．Practice
1. sing a donkey song
2. students use donkey say the text together.
3. riddle
T: Now I’m May. Who is my friend You can ask me some questions. Then I’ll tell you something about her.
S: What color Is she big Is she fat
T: (answer these questions and present: She is little and white. She has two red eyes and two long ears. Look at my friend. Who is she )
4. 播放保护动物宣传片 ，进行思想教育
六．Homework
a. listen to the tape and repeat several times.
b. Read their new riddles to their parents.
c. Sing their new songs to their parents.
