next to为介词短语，意为“挨着；紧邻；在……近旁”，其后常接表示场所的词。beside指“在……旁边”，比next to稍远。by指“”在……旁边”可以与beside互换。near表示“在……附近”，指的是四周围，不特指前后左右，范围广。

这是一句向他人伸出援手、主动提出帮助的客套话，可译作“需要我帮忙吗？”或“我可以帮您做些什么？”，常用于商店、饭店、旅馆、办事处等场合。 类似句子还有：
