“一……就……” ,引导时间状语从句
once upon a time意为“从前”，相当于a long time ago 或long long ago，常用于故事、童话的开头，并且其后的句子要用一般过去时。

“so … that”：

主语 + 谓语 +so + adj. /adv. + that从句
so与that也可连起来写, 即变成：… so that … (以便/为了……), 引导目的状语从句

unless
unless：“除非；如果不”。 “主将从现”
(1) unless引导条件状语从句时，相当于if…not, 但是虚
拟条件句中不能用unless。

(2) unless表示条件时后可接现在分词短语。
unless还可用作介词，意思是“除……以外”。
