If you turn on the TV looking for a good English show to learn English, and you see a kid’s cartoon, it’s OK. Sometimes you can use children’s cartoons for learning English just as well as other shows or movies. “Martha Speaks” is such a cartoon. It’s about a dog called Martha. She learns how to speak after eating letter soup. It teaches up to 20 words in each show. To help kids remember them, these words are used many times during the programme. It’s really funny to watch. Now you can watch it on Star TV from Monday to Thursday between 8:00 and 9:00 pm.
