be afraid的意思是“害怕”, 相当于be scared。afraid是形容词, 只能作表语, 与be和feel连用。
常见考点 be afraid常用于以下结构:

be afraid of sth. /doing sth. 害怕某物/做某事
be afraid to do sth. 害怕做某事

right now 常用于一般现在时, “此刻, 现在”
