Dear Tom,
How’s your winter vacation going Having come back from my journey to Yunnan, I want to share my awesome experience with you.
Upon getting off the plane, the blue sky literally took my breath away. Looking up, I saw the cloud floating, with the warm breeze brushing my face. I spent my first day in Kunming, the provincial capital of Yunnan, which is a modern city and home to a bunch of shopping malls. The next morning, I arose early to catch the coach bound for Tengchong, an ancient city that has many minority ethnic groups and unique culture. Fortunately, I was treated by a local family, deeply impressed by their hospitality and generosity. In addition to seeing the beautiful scenery, the highlight of my trip was time spent on cafes and pubs, allowing me to enjoy the slow pace of life.
To be honest, I’m still thinking of the incredible trip. By the way, I want to know more about your holiday. Looking forward to your early reply.
Yours,
Li Hua
