(冠词)
知识梳理
一、冠词的概念：冠词是一种虚词，用在名词或形容词的前面，它本身没有词义，也不能够单独使用。
二、冠词的分类：冠词分为定冠词(the)和不定冠词(a/an)两种。
三、用法：
定冠词(the)用法
用法 例子
1.特指双方都知道的人或物 Look at the picture on the wall.
2.指上文已提到过的人或物. There is a boy at table.The boy is Mike.
3.指世上独一无二的事物 the sun,the moon,the earth
4.用在表示乐器的名词之前 play the piano,play the violin
5.用在姓氏的复数名词之前,表示一家人 the Greens,the Lins
6.用在序数词或形容词最高级前 on the first floor,the tallest dinosaur
7.用在习惯用语中 in the morning,the day after tomorrow
8.与形容词连用,表示一类人 the rich,the poor
【注意】定冠词the在句中或是文中可理解为“this”(这)或“that”(那),在复数句子中理解为“these”(这些)或“those”(那些),要和名词连用来表示某个或某些特定的人或物。
不定冠词(a/an)的用法
用法 例子
1.相当于one,但语气不如one强 There is a picture on the wall.
2.代表一类人或物 A horse can run fast.
3.第一次提到的人或物 It's a cat.
4.用于习惯用语中 have a look,a lot of,a few
【注意】以元音音素开头的单数可数名词，通常在其前面用an。以元音字母u 开头的单词，有两种情况：1.当字母u的发音是元音/ /时，前面用an如：an umbrella;2.当字母u的发音是辅音/ju:/时,前面用a,如:a university student。
不用冠词(/)的情况
用法 例子
1.国名、人名前不用冠词 in China
2.季节、月份、日期、星期不用冠词 in spring,on Sunday
3在之前,不用显词 have breakfast
4在球类名词之前,不用冠词 play basketball
5.当by与交通工具连用,各词之前不用冠词 by bus
当名词前面有this、my、every等修饰词时,不用冠词 my schoolbag
