一、Teaching aims:
Knowledge aims: Ss can read and understand the new words: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, have, next, week, holiday and say these sentences: Next week is a holiday. What will you do On Monday I'll go swimming. Today is Monday and tomorrow is Tuesday.
Ability aims: Ss can use the sentence pattern “What will you do on ... I'll ... ” to talk about plan. Ss can use the sentence pattern “Today is ... and tomorrow is ... ”to describe what day is today and what day is tomorrow.
Emotional aims: Ss are willing to speak English and sing English songs, cultivate Ss' habit of time planning.

Teaching Key Point: Ss can use the sentence pattern “What will you do on ... I'll ... ” to talk about plan.
Teaching Difficult Point: Ss can master the usage of will and be going to.

Step1: Pre-listening
1. Watch and chant. 看动画一句一句跟唱,整体唱。 Learn the new words: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. 和同学们板书时注意让学生观察书写上要注意什么: The beginning of the word should be capitalized. 大写的。T: Pay attention. Look at here, when you write these words, the first letter should be capitalized, write down the big T(It's a capital T, is not lowercase t). 分组读,男生女生读,开火车读。T: There are ... days in a week Ss: Seven. Learn the new word:”week”. sleep, sheep, green. T: Let's say the sentence again. T and Ss: There are seven days in a week. T: They are ... Ss: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. T: Yes! You are right. Let's chant again. T: Do you know, what day is the first day of the week 一周的第一天是周几? Ss: ... T: Today is Friday. What day is tomorrow / And tomorrow is ... Ss: Saturday.

2. Follow and say. Practise the seven days. 注意纠音
T: Today is Friday, the weekend/ Saturday is coming. What will you do tomorrow What will you do next week Shanshan is talking about her holiday plans (for next week) with her friends.
Step2 While-listening
1. Listen and answer. Learn the new words: next, holiday
提醒学生,next week, 所以句子里要用will
2. Watch, listen and imitate. Then read by themselves.

Step3 Post-listening
1. Point, ask and answer. A3
2. Talk about your next week.
3. Make your plans for next week. Then report.

Step 4 Homework
1. Listen and imitate the new words, A1 and A2 three times. 听音并模仿跟读新单词和活动一、二部分内容。
2. Copy the new words and key sentences(P18A3, P19A5) twice. 抄写新单词(从Tuesday到holiday)和18页活动三和19页活动5的重点句两遍。
3. Sing the “Monday, Tuesday” song to your family. 唱星期歌给家人听。
4. Write your plans for next week and talk to your friends. 写出下周计划跟朋友交流。运用On … I will …(或者I will … on …)句式。
5. 完成同步练习册Module 3 Unit 2和单元综合训练部分。
