Step1: Pre-listening
1. Let’s learn.
Learn the new word: yesterday.
2. Listen and chant.
Then learn the new words: out(not at home, not in the classroom. T: Now where are we We are at ... Ss: At school. T: Yes, we are at school, we are not at home, we are out. T: Now, please look at me. Now I am not in the classroom, I am ... Ss: Out. 说句子并走出教室。小结T: Out means not at home, not in the classroom. T: Were you at home yesterday 板书 S1: Yes/No. 引导学生完整回答Yes, I was. No, I wasn’t. 并板书Once again. 再问答让学生完整回答。 T: You were ... you weren’t ... 多问几个学生,然后说自己的情况T: Yesterday I wasn’t at home, I was out, I was at the park. Step2 While-listening
1. Listen, point and find “Was / Were ... ”. Ask Ss close books, listen and repeat these two sentences. T: Now, let’s be Tom, to ask grandma about yesterday’s weather.
