My favorite writer is J.K. Rowling.
Her first book about Harry Potter came out in 1997, and she became famous right after that. Now she has become one of the most successful writers in the world. I read the first book about Harry Potter three years ago.
The story was so amazing that I couldn't put it down until I finished reading it. So far, I have read all the seven books about Harry Potter and watched all the movies. If you haven't read any of the books yet, pick one now. You will find a wonderful world in it.
当前，全市各学校正在开展以“好书伴我成长”为主题的活动。请你介个活动主题并根据下列要点和要求，以“Growing Up with Good Books” 为题，用英语写一篇倡议书，向全体学生发出倡议。

However, some students spend much time in listening to music, watching TV or going online to play games. It takes much of their spare time. So I would like to suggest that everyone should read more books, especially classics, so that we can spread our Chinese traditional culture to the world.
