My favorite thing from childhood is a camera. I have owned it for more than six years. my parents bought it for me when I was in Grade two.
I like the camera best because it was a gift after I got full marks. It made me fall in love with photography. From then on, I have taken many amazing pictures. Every Chinese New Year, I can use it to take a picture of my whole family. It has been helpful to record changes for a couple of years. As time passes by, it has left many sweet memories to our family. What's more, I'm always happy to go to the photography club on weekends. I've made a number of friends there and we share photography skills and interesting stories with each other.
Just like a close friend, my camera has made a great difference to my life and encouraged me to find beauty. Thanks to it, I never feel lonely.

My hometown is Zhengzhou, a beautiful place. It’s located in the middle of Henan Province. And it stands beside a wide river and is rich in fish and rice.
But ten years ago, it was a poor city. People lived in old and broken houses. There were few buses and cars. People had to walk or ride bikes to go out.They used to live a hard life.
In the past ten years, great changes have taken place here. With the help of the government, people now live in new houses. Many people have their own cars. People's life is also greatly improved.
I love my hometown and its people very much. They are still working hard to make it richer and more beautiful.Welcome to my hometown.
