单元教学内容 Topic : Getting around Functions : 1.Ask for information politely. 2. Follow directions Target language : Excuse me, do you know where I can buy some medicine Sure. There’s a supermarket down the street. Could you please tell me how to get to the post office Sorry, I’m not use how to get there. I wonder where we should go next. 单元 教材分析 In this unit, students learn to talk about getting around and how to ask for information politely. Three parts are designed Section A 1a-2d:以一幅生活图画开篇,该图引出了学生在操练新语言时需要的情景及相关重点词汇和句型,随之,分层设计了不同形式听力活动,接下来是几个循序渐进的操练活动。学生可以独立、结对或组成小组完成多种操练。 3a-3b: 是一篇以在“游乐园”为主题的对话阅读,3a 部分通过回答问题,了解对话的主要细节; 3b部分是通过搜寻类似与例句的句子,感知宾语从句。 Grammar Focus 通过观察、分析、进一步理解一般现在时中的宾语从句的不同表达形式, 4a-4c: 以不同的形式,不同难度层次地让学生练习宾语从句,以便学生熟练掌握和运用宾语从句。 Section B 1a-1e: 从语言词汇积累、基本句型、听、说、演等不同方面和不同语言操练形式,让学生运用所学语言分层进行听、说的操练,1a-1d部分为“Role-play”打下了铺垫,教师需指导学生有序、灵活地开展对话活动。本部分是以听、结对活动和小组活动为特色的听说课。 2a-2d:本课的主要内容是一篇有关如何礼貌地提出请求的短文。 3a:以“问题讨论”的方式,引出话题,进行情景热身。 3b: 通过找主题句的阅读策略,了解不同情景及其基于文化知识的礼貌用语。 3c: 通过“find the direct questions and polite requests “的形式,体会“suitable language based on cultural knowledge” 2d: 以比较与体验的方式,练习目标语言。 3a-3b: 本节为话题作文训练部分。主要是将读、写的任务结合起来,锻炼学生的写作及对语言综合运用能力,巩固学生对目标语言的学习及综合运用。教师需指导学生或鼓励他们独立完成写作的任务 Self Check:本节主要是针对本单元的主要目标语言进行加强巩固训练,巩固学生对目标语言的学习、识记和运用。

I wonder where we should go next. 6. I was scared at first, but shouting did help. 7. On their way to Water City Restaurant, Alice and He Wei pass by Uncle Bob's. Section B 1. That is because it is a very direct question. 2. The expressions they use might depend on whom they are speaking to or how well they know each other. 3. Sometimes we even need to spend time leading into a request. 4. It might seem more difficult to speak politely than directly. 5. However, it is important to learn how to use the right language in different situations. (3)语法目标: 掌握特殊疑问词引导宾语从句的用法 2.能力目标:(1)学会有礼貌地提出请求 (2)写作目标学会写礼貌地提出请求的文章 3.情感目标:培养学生用英语有礼貌地询问信息,很好的树立中国友好形象,增强国内外中国人民的民族自豪感.
教学重点 1.To grasp the usage of asking for information politely. 2.To master the usage of following directions 3.Be proficient use of objective clauses with wh-question。 4. To write the topic composition.
教学难点 .Be proficient use of objective clauses with wh-question Write a polite letter to the school asking for the information, such as the course, the time of the course, the activities etc.
