Analysis of the unit（单元教学内容分析）
1. 本单元的话题是“My Neighbourhood”。单元的内容主要围绕社区环境和社区邻里展开，。它包含六个语篇：L19是王梅和李明对未来理想社区的畅想，L20-L21介绍了上学路上途径的地方和去电影院的路上发生的事，L24介绍了Michael的社区，L23介绍了Brain社区里的人们，L24回顾了Brain来到新社区后的生活。本单元教学的主要任务是帮助学生了解和介绍自己的社区以及社区环境，此外还要让学生进一步了解如何指路。
2. 主要语法项目是“because”引导的原因状语从句。
3. 语言功能项目包谈论社区和指路。

A) listening and reading by training their micro-skills, such as predicting, getting the main information by listening, understanding the text by detailed reading, integrating and applying the new knowledge, summarizing and so on.
