Analysis of the unit(单元教学内容分析)
1.本单元的话题是“Me and My Class”。单元内容主要涉及新学期学校生活,班级照片,新朋友的喜好,和朋友友好相处,新老师和Jenny 的一周生活。 它包含六个语篇:L1第一天的学校生活 ,L2通过班级照片如何快速地了解同班同学,L3如何了解新朋友的喜好, L4如何和朋友处理分歧并且友好相处,L5 了解新老师,L6,Jenny 一周的生活。
本单元主要任务是通过介绍新学期的班级和朋友,引导学生认识并讨论自己的班级和朋友,激发他们对于新班级的认同,让学生体会丰富、多彩、有意义的学校生活,传达了乐观、积极的生活态度,形成和谐的班级文化,正确处理矛盾与其他人友好相处,培养正确的价值观。

1. Linguistic competences
T will help Ss develop their skills of
A) listening and reading by training their micro-skills, such as predicting, getting the main information by listening, understanding the text by detailed reading, integrating and applying the new knowledge(school life: subjects, class, classmates, teachers, etc) summarizing and so on.
B) doing things in English, such as giving suggestions( He advised me to choose that one; I agree with you); describing people( She is kind and patient) to talk about things.
2. Cultural awareness
A) Ss can build up a correct value by knowing about the new class life.
3. Thinking quality
A) Ss can find out, discriminate and summarize the new linguistic phenomena. ( simple sentences)
B) They have the ability to deal with conflicts with friends.
C) They can creatively voice their ideas about the class life.
4. Learning ability
A) Ss will keep their interest in and participate in learning English actively.
B) They will use some English learning strategies, such as previewing new vocabulary, forming a good habit of studying, concentrating on their studies in class, cooperating with their group members and so on.
C) They will improve their learning ability by reading some more extended reading materials in or out of class.
