I was able to write and read in English, but I couldn't speak English well when I was travelling to English speaking countries. It was also very difficult for me to understand the natives (本地人). Things have changed after I joined the ACC (Advanced Conversation Club).
For a long time, I tried to learn English in different schools and in different ways, but it didn't work well. I'm a doctor and I am busy with my work, so I don't always have free time for studying. One evening I visited the English corner of our town. It is near our school. There are trees, flowers and a piece of small ground. Every evening, large numbers of people go there to improve their English.
