Who has the same hobby as me?
Who has the same hobby as me?
Sometimes I fish in the sea.
Sometimes I play computer games. Sometimes I fly model planes. Sometimes I play with toy cars. Sometimes I look at the stars. But my favourite hobby is to ski. Who has the same hobby as me?
Challenge yourselves
Let’s review the knowledge about syllables.
音节:有的单词只包括一个音节,有的单词包含两个、三个或更多的音节,分别称为单音节词、双音节词和多音节词。 单音节词一般都是重读的。双音节词一般只有一个音节是重读的。多音节词除了重读音节外,有时还有一个次重读音节。
音节的核心是元音。少数辅音字母,如l、m、n也可以构成非重读音节。一个音节里可以只有一个元音字母而没有其他字母,如i 、a。元音字母的前面或后面可以有一个或两个辅音字母。如we, she, at, ask, box, them, desk, middle, letter等。

A2 Say these two-syllable words and stress the second syllable.

带a-、be-、en-、for-、im-、in-、mis- 、pre- 、pro- 、to- 、trans- 、un-等不可分的前缀的双音节词,重音常落在第2个音节上。
When we say words of three or more syllables, we usually stress either the first syllable or the second syllable.

difficult superman
多音节词的重音多落第1个或第2个音节上。
A4 Say these three-syllable words and stress the second syllable.

important October
以-ic,–ial,-ian ,–ion等后缀结尾的多音节词,重音落在倒数第2个音节上。
Most words of three or more syllables have stress on the first or the second syllable. However, some have the main stress on a later syllable.
A5 Say these words and stress the third syllable.
disagree engineer
exclamation magazine
大多数多音节词的重音在第一或第二个音节上。但有些单词的主重音在后一个音节上。
词的重音与次重音
重音:
单音节词单独读时都重读,不必标重音节符号;两个或两个以上的音节才有重音。重音符号标注在重读的这个音节前。
次重音:
在含有3个或更多音节的单词中,有的除了有主重音还有次重音,次重音表示 读该音节时要弱于重音节而强于其他音节。
复合词和词组重音
