名词的所有格
所有格表示的是所属的关系。在中文中表示“.......的“。
名词所有格有两种形式：
一种是加's表示。
另一种是用of的结构表示。
the dog’s ears
狗的耳朵
表示有生命的东西的名词所有格形式
（1）单数名词和不以s结尾的复数名词一般在词尾加“ 's ”。
例如：
the girl’s schoolbag
这个女孩的书包
Children’s Day
儿童节
表示有生命的东西的名词所有格形式
（2）以s结尾的复数名词在词尾直接加“ ' ”。例如：
the students' reading-room
学生阅览室
the twins' room
双胞胎的房间
表示时间、地点或距离、国家，城市等无生命事物的名词所有格，一般也加“s”。例如：
today’s newspaper
the country’s newspaper
a mile’s journey
twenty minutes’ walk
表示有生命的东西的名词所有格形式
（3）表示两个人共有某物时，在后一个名字后面加“ 's ”；表示两个人分别拥有时，则分别在两个名字后面加”'s “。例如：
Lily and Lucy’s study
莉莉和露西的书房（表示两人共用一个书房）
Lily’s and Lucy’s books
莉莉和露西的书（表示两人各有一本书）
表示无生命的东西的名词所有格，一般用of结构
the legs of the chair
椅子的腿
a picture of my family
我家的一张照片
Tips:用于有生命的东西，尤其是有较长定语时，也常用of 所有格
如：the classroom of the first -year student
一年级学生的教室
双重所有格
表示某人所拥有的多个人或物中的一个或多个。
双重所有格中所修式的名词（即of前的那个名词）之前通常用a ,an ,some ,any ,few ,two ,no ,several之类的修饰语，不能用the和one。
