一、教材分析
本课是一节以“Spring Festival春节”,为主题的新授课。围绕着“What is the Spring Festival ”和“How do you spend the Spring Festival ”对于了解中国的传统文化和培养学生热爱本国文化有着重要的帮助。
二、学情分析
本课时的教学对象为四年级学生。经过一年多的英语学习,他们已有一定的英语知识储备,也了解了一些中西节日及相对应的节日文化,具备基本的听、说、读、写的能力,逻辑思维能力日渐增强。
春节这个话题,贴近生活实际,学生特别熟悉。在生活中,每年的春节和学校举行的庆祝春节活动,让学生都能身临其境地感受如何过春节。这些生活中的知识,也为本课的学习奠定了良好的基础。
三、教学目标
1. 语言能力
(1) 学生能认读并正确书写the Spring Festival, Chinese, spend, we, make, dumpling, family.
(2) 学生能掌握并运用:

Step 1 Warming Up and Review
1. Greetings.

2. Sing a Song.
T:Now, let’s sing a song and clap our hands, OK
Ss: OK.
3.Review
T: The song is about New Year.
Show a calendar, and say:
T: Today is Dec 31st, tomorrow is New Year’s Day.
Review words about holidays: New Year, Children’s Day, Christmas Day.
4.Lead-in
T: Today, we are going to learn a new holiday. It’s the Spring Festival.
设计意图:通过歌曲Happy New Year过度到复习阶段,复习之前学过的节日,在引出今天要了解的节日The Spring Festival.
